Here are a bunch of answers to the common questions when looking at webpages. You will also find some helpful hints here as well..
The back button is used to go to the previous site that you were just at. With the current editions of Microsoft Explorer and Netscape Communicator, you can actually hold down your left mouse button over the BACK button and it will display the sights that you have been to recently. Now click on one of those and it will take you back to that one page. Please note that some of the websites out there will actually open a whole new window for you when you choose to go to one of their sites. When you hit the BACK button here you won't find the previous sites.
Don't you just hate it when you try to ask someone a question you came up while you were crusing the internet, and the first question they ask is , "which browser do you use?". Well, first of all, what the heck is a browser? Well, a browser is just the program that you use to actually view the internet's world wide web with. You can determine if you are using Microsoft's Explorer because you will see a "E" in the top right hand corner. If you are using the Netscape Communicator/Navigator you will see a lighthouse or a wheel in the top right hand corner. Just a word of advise here, it is always a good idea to get the most current version of the browser you use. There have been many advancements in how everything is done on the internet and you may find that this newer version will actually speed thngs up for you. You may want to stay away from BETA versions only because they are out there for the experienced to find bugs in..
When you are going through this site and other sites on the internet you may want to notice that when you take your arrow (cursor) over certain objects writing will appear. This is sometimes done on purpose. Sometimes all you will see is the graphics filename but other times you will find more information on what you will find if you actually click on this graphic. This is a real easy way to give out information to only those interested.
You go to sites and then BAM !! It seems that you are locked up. What to do .. Well. look at the bottom left hand corner. Is there a percentage sign there that is increasing. Is the top right hand graphic moving ? If none of this is working, hit your stop button, then hit your refresh or reload button. It could be that the traffic on the internet is pretty heavy and it is taking a little longer to load..

A F.A.Q. stands for " frequently asked questions " . This is
something that is utilized quite a bit in the Internet world to help answer all those
common questions that arise. We strongly suggest you check a website or any
companies F.A.Q. if you have any questions. You might save the company some time and
most of all, you may save yourself some time. Who knows, you also may learn a thing
or two that you weren't expecting to. F.A.Q's are a good thing.
When we first went public with our company we were going to use the name of " Your
Computer " and we were aiming at assisting those with that big thing on their desk
that has been collecting dust over the months. Of course, we are talking about their
computer. We knew that there were plenty of people out there that purchased a new
computer, put it all together, and then they would say " now what? ". The
computer then sat there and sat there and sat there. We went to register this name
on the Internet as our domain name but it was unfortunately already taken. We then
thought about it and at the time we saw that in house networks were coming and soon homes
were going to have more than one computer in them. Not only in the homes but in the
office environment we are seeing more and more people getting involved with computers.
So, that is how we came up with Your Computers with the "s" at the end
and of course that domain name was available.
